Because the weather is warmer during this time of year, silks and light cottons are good fabrics to choose for a tank, blouse, shorts, or skirt. Take Rachel Zoe’s advice and stand out. She loves bright colors, feminine shapes and fun patterns. It’s fun to flirt with the seasons.

As you accessories your new summer outfits, you should know that petal jewelry is hitting the fashion forward scene. Pair your new summery collections with a statement ring, ear rings, or necklace. But remember, it’s never a good idea to wear too much jewelry. It starts to look messy or tacky, very quickly. Recently, our friend and fellow fashion major gave a talk about her quarter abroad at the American InterContinental University in London. In her blog, she comments on the different styles that she saw around Europe during her travels. One new trend that she saw all over was high waisted, super short shorts.

Well guess who else says these are an upcoming trend in the US? Rachel Zoe. She gave her pick for the perfect pair.

It's all about leopard print!

It is official. Leopard print is back.

Rachel Zoe was spotted on numerous occasions during fashion week wearing a ton of it. Here she is front row at the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2010 show donning this fabulous frock.And here she is in a leopard print jacket at the Fendi Fall 2010 runway show!
And if Rachel is wearing it, we gotta have it! So here are a few fun options for putting leopard into your spring wardrobe.
