Rachel Zoe in Velvet
The Met's Costume Institute celebrated the opening of American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity this week. Rachel Zoe showed up on the red carpet in an amazing yellow velvet Marc Jacobs gown.

Remember Taylor?
If you are a fan of Rachel Zoe, you have been watching Bravo's The Rachel Zoe Project from the beginning.
Taylor Jacobson, Zoe's former assistant and resident uptight bitch, has a new project on her hands. She now is collaborating with Kasil Denim and has created a line of fabulous jeans that would go great in any wardrobe. It is called Kasil + Taylor Jacobson Denim Collection and here is our favorite pick.

Recently, our friend and fellow fashion major gave a talk about her quarter abroad at the American InterContinental University in London. In her blog, she comments on the different styles that she saw around Europe during her travels. One new trend that she saw all over was high waisted, super short shorts.
Well guess who else says these are an upcoming trend in the US? Rachel Zoe. She gave her pick for the perfect pair.

Music Festival Style
Today on the Rachel Zoe report, she was preparing us for the season of music festivals. Whether you get crazy at Sasquatch or Coachella, it is always a time of not only unique music but also unique fashion. Rachel gave us her pick of the perfect purse for all of your festival activities. This Versace woven leather purse is absolutely beautiful.
Here is our (much more affordable) pick for the perfect satchel to carry around at your local music festival. It is from Urban Outfitters and costs $38!
To complete your outfit here is a sweet lace trimmed blouse from Forever 21. It is only $18.90 and would go perfectly with these trendy high waisted shorts from Topshop ($55) and these adorable turquoise gladiator sandals from Kohl's ($34.99)!

It's all about leopard print!
It is official. Leopard print is back.
Rachel Zoe was spotted on numerous occasions during fashion week wearing a ton of it. Here she is front row at the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2010 show donning this fabulous frock.
And here she is in a leopard print jacket at the Fendi Fall 2010 runway show!
And if Rachel is wearing it, we gotta have it! So here are a few fun options for putting leopard into your spring wardrobe. You can cool off with this leopard print swimsuit on the top from Victoria's Secret. And this dress on the bottom from Topshop would be perfect for those warm spring and summer nights.

Rachel Zoe says that everyone should have those timeless pieces that will never go out of style. Recently, she put this Moschino Cheap & Chic Poplin blouse on her website as the perfect blouse to keep in your closet. But since it costs $1,140.00, we wanted to give you a few less expensive options!Below are two other sweet ruffled white blouses that could be worn to the office or out at night. The blouse on the top is from Anthropologie and is only $68.00! The long sleeve blouse on the bottom is from J. Crew and costs $89.50.
I'd say these are some pretty good deals for pieces that you will keep in your closet season after season!
