The Met's Costume Institute celebrated the opening of American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity this week. Rachel Zoe showed up on the red carpet in an amazing yellow velvet Marc Jacobs gown.

Rachel Zoe was spotted at many Fall 2010 runways shows this season scoping out the future trends. But it seems that one of her favorites was Salvatore Ferragamo. She was seen taking pictures of the glamorous gowns shown on the runway.
